Police Issue Arrest Warrants for Men in McKeesport Shooting

Arrest warrants have been issued for two men in a Tuesday homicide.

Allegheny County Police have issued two arrest warrants in connection with a homicide in McKeesport on Tuesday, Jan. 20, police said.

Warrants for the arrest of Jonathan “BJ” Coles, 20, of McKeesport, and Roman Jones, 23, of Clairton, were issued on charges of homicide, aggravated assault, attempted homicide, conspiracy and weapons violations, Allegheny County Police said in a news release.

Police described Coles as a black male, approximately 6 feet tall and weighing 240 pounds. Jones was described as a black male, approximately 6 feet tall and 170 pounds, authorities said.

Allegheny Police said both men are to be considered armed and dangerous.

If anyone has information regarding the whereabouts of the two men, they are urged to call the Allegheny County Police Homicide Unit at 412-473-1300. If anyone sights either man, they should call 911 immediately. Callers can remain anonymous.
