Snow Storm Causing Flight Cancellations at Pittsburgh International

Snow has barely started falling and the impending storm has already causing flight delays and cancellations across the region.

More snow is falling across the Northeast -- a lot of snow. The snow has barely started falling across the Northeast United States, but has already begun affecting air travel as a a number of flights in and out of Pittsburgh International Airport have been cancelled.

Despite the small amount of snow we will be seeing in the Pittsburgh metropolitan area, the weather elsewhere is affecting travel in and out of Pittsburgh.

  • Monday: Snow. High near 30. Northeast wind around 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent. Total daytime snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.
  • Monday Night: Snow likely, mainly before midnight. Cloudy, with a low around 18. Northwest wind around 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
