Teenager Injured Penn Hills Shooting

At roughly 5:44 pm last evening the Penn Hills Police were dispatched to the 2700 block of Robinson Blvd near the intersection of East Gate Dr. in response to 911 calls about a man being shot. There they found a 16 year old black male suffering from what appeared to be a single gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local are hospital where he was listed in critical condition.

Detectives from the Allegheny County Police Homicide unit initiated an investigation. At this point there is no clear motive. Anyone who may have been in the area around that time is asked to call the County Police at 412-473-1300. Callers can remain anonymous.
