Two KFCs Robbed Within Half an Hour, Police Say
Police suspect the same man is responsible for robberies in Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurants in Penn Hills and Monroeville.

Police are looking for a man who robbed two Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurants on Sunday.
Penn Hills police say the man robbed a KFC there about 8:15 p.m. Sunday. Police say he fired a shot during this first robbery.
The second restaurant, in Monroeville, was robbed 15 minutes later. Monroeville police say the man entered the restaurant with his shirt pulled up over his face and demanded money.

Police in Forest Hills saw a vehicle matching the description of one driven by the robbery suspect, according to the Associated Press. When that vehicle refused to stop, the driver led police on a chase into Wilkinsburg and Pittsburgh’s East End neighborhoods, where police lost the suspect.
