Two Victims of Monroeville Mall Shooting Still Critical; Mall Requiring Adult Escorts for Minors in Wake of Shooting
Two of the three victims in Saturday's Monroeville Mall shooting remain in critical condition, hospital officials said.

Two of three people shot in the Monroeville Mall shooting on Saturday night remain in critical condition today, Monday, Feb. 9, officials said.
Davon Jones, 20, who police said was the “intended target”, and Thomas Singleton, 53, both remain in critical condition at Forbes Hospital in Monroeville, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
Singleton’s wife, Mary Singleton, 47, was also shot in the Saturday night shooting, but is in fair condition, the Post-Gazette said.

The shooting occurred on the ground floor of the Macy’s store shortly after 7:30 p.m., the Post-Gazette reported.
Thomas Singleton’s femoral artery was severed after being shot in the back of the leg, while Jones was shot in his left buttock and pelvic area, according to the Post-Gazette. Mary Singleton suffered a shoulder wound. Doctors at Forbes Hospital reportedly expect all three to survive, but the two men in critical condition will need to undergo additional surgeries.

Tarod Thornhill, 17, of Penn Hills, was arrested for the shooting early Sunday morning, according to the Post-Gazette.
In the wake of the shooting, the Post-Gazette reported the Monroeville Mall will require all patrons under the age of 18 be accompanies by an adult on weekend evenings.
