An Update From Patch

Patch will be undergoing site maintenance that will increase the speed at which pages load and allow us to make future improvements to the site more rapidly. This is a first step toward reintroducing popular Patch features such as local calendars and discussion areas.

You can still read Patch while the maintenance is underway, but Patch editors won’t be able to post new stories until the maintenance is finished.

We will be posting vital breaking news in the meantime on Patch’s Facebook pages (to stay in the loop there, be sure to like Patch’s Facebook pages so the latest updates show up in your news feed).
