A winter weather advisory has been issued for Allegheny County until 2 p.m. What can you expect?

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory and hazardous weather outlook for Allegheny County until 2 p.m.
The NWS reports the total snow accumulations could be between 2 and 3 inches, with the period of heaviest snow being in the late morning. Snow may briefly mix with freezing rain, as well. The winter weather will impact driving conditions, limiting visibility and covering roads.

- Wednesday: Snow, possibly mixed with freezing rain before 1pm, then a chance of snow between 1pm and 2pm, then a chance of rain and snow after 2pm. High near 35. East wind 5 to 7 mph becoming southwest in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 80%. Little or no ice accumulation expected. Total daytime snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.
- Wednesday Night: A chance of snow, mainly before 5am. Cloudy, with a low around 26. West wind 5 to 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
- Thursday: Cloudy, with a high near 31. West wind 6 to 8 mph.
- Thursday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 21. Northwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
- Friday: Partly sunny, with a high near 34. Calm wind becoming southwest around 5 mph in the morning.
- Friday Night: A chance of snow, mainly after midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 26. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
