Two people are dead after an apparent murder-suicide in Lower Burrell.

An apparent murder-suicide leaves two people dead this morning in Lower Burrell.
The victims have been identified as Mark McDade, 45, who shot and killed his wife, Leanne McDade, 42, before shooting himself, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette said.
A family member discovered the two bodies in a second floor bedroom at the home in the 100 block of Clinton Avenue around 8 a.m. Thursday, according to the Post-Gazette.

The Post-Gazette reports a neighbor said a couple, possibly in their 40s, lived in the house. Authorities are still investigating the scene at the single-family home northeast of Pittsburgh.
Authorities are investigating the possibility of any animosity between the couple, the Post-Gazette said.
