Haverford Police Seek Man In Suspicious Incident

Police said a man in his 60s drove slowly by a 15-year-old girl this weekend and asked her if she needed a ride home.

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Haverford Township are investigating suspicious person and potential child luring incident that occurred in the township Saturday and are seeking to speak with the man involved.

According to Haverford Police, a 15-year-old girl was approached by a man in a vehicle at about 6:45 p.m. Saturday a Yale and Darby roads.

The man drive up and asked the girl if she needed a ride, but the girl ignored him and quickly turned down Yale Road and lost sight of the man.

Police described the man a white and in his 60s. He had short white hair and was balding.

He was reported to have a husky build and was wearing large square frame glasses and a dark button up shirt.

Police said he was driving an older model, small, dark green vehicle that may have been a coupe. The make and model are unknown.

Police are only looking to identify the man and said there are currently no charges pending at this time.
