Andrew Ratushny Sr., 88, of Hellertown, died Monday, Nov. 25, 2013 at his residence.

Andrew Ratushny Sr., 88, of Hellertown, died Monday, Nov. 25, 2013 at his residence. He was the husband of Dorothy M. (Andresko) LaBuda Ratushny. He was born in New Castle, Del., on April 5, 1925 to the late Joseph and Mary (Lew) Ratushny. He served our country faithfully in the U.S. Army during World War II, as a supervisor of military policeman guarding the Nazi prisoners. Andy worked at Bethlehem Steel in the Rolling Mills Dept. until retiring. After retirement, he worked as the sexton for St. Anne's Catholic Church, Bethlehem. He was an avid bowler, bowling at many different local bowling lanes. He was a member of the Church of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus, Hellertown.
SURVIVORS
In addition to his wife of 21 years; children: Suzanne Gaugler (Richard A.) of Bath, Andrew of Bethlehem Township; grandchildren: Donna M. Roman (Jack), Richard A. Jr.; two great-granddaughters: Julia and Alaina Roman. He was predeceased by his first wife: Hilda M. Long; and brothers: Harry, William, Joseph, Nicholas.

SERVICE
Family and friends are invited to call from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013 at the church, 1408 Easton Road, Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by a of Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. The interment will be private. Online expressions of sympathy can be recorded at www.heintzelmancares.com.
