Carey A. Gretzinger, 70, Vietnam Veteran, American Legion Member [Obituary]

Carey A. Gretzinger, 70, of Hellertown, died Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014 at Quakertown Center. He was the husband of Carol L. (Guest) Gretzinger. He was born in Sellersville on Dec. 9, 1943 to the late Ralph H. and Dorothy (Sazanski) Gretzinger. Carey worked in electrical maintenance and as a machinist at the former Bethlehem Steel for many years until retiring. He served our country faithfully in the Navy during the Vietnam War. Carey was a member of Mountainview Moravian Church, Dewey Fire Company No. 1 and Edward H. Ackerman American Legion Post 397, all of Hellertown.

SURVIVORS

In addition to his loving wife of 41 years; daughter: Melissa A. and her husband Gary Jester of Jamison, Pa.; siblings: Darlene and her husband Donald Creyer of Allentown, Gloria and her husband Dr. John Dobrota of Center Valley; grandchildren: Meghan, William and Adam Jester; mother-in-law: Helen N. Guest of Hellertown.

SERVICE
