State police at Belfast have filed charges in an August incident on Interstate 78 involving an Easton man operating a motorcycle.

Police say Timothy R. Miller, 27, of the 900 block of W. Lincoln St., was driving under the influence as he weaved in and out of the highway's eastbound lanes in Lower Saucon Township on the afternoon of Aug. 16.

Police say he did not have the proper license to operate his bike.

Police also say Miller hit another vehicle while operating a Honda CBR 500RD and had a small amount of marijuana on him, according to a criminal complaint.

Miller was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana for personal use, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence, classes of licenses, driving on roadways laned for traffic, driving vehicle at safe speed and careless driving.

He was arraigned Nov. 23 by on-duty District Judge Tood Strohe of Bangor and released on $15,000 unsecured bail.
