Meadows Road Fire Hydrant Knocked Over; Police Investigating

Lower Saucon Township police say a fire hydrant at Meadows Road and Meadow Ridge Court was knocked off its base when it was struck by an unknown vehicle sometime Dec. 7.

In a news release, police said the vehicle that struck the hydrant then continued south on Meadows Road.

The incident is being investigated as a hit-and-run accident.
