Saucon Valley Schools Closed Friday, L. Saucon Declares Snow Emergency
It's officially a three-day weekend for Saucon Valley students, as the district has declared a snow day on Friday, Jan. 3.

The Saucon Valley School District announced Thursday evening that classes are canceled and the district will be closed Friday, due to the winter storm that is affecting the area.
As much as 10 inches of snow is forecast to fall on parts of the Lehigh Valley, and bitter cold is expected to follow in the storm's wake.
Following Hellertown's lead, Lower Saucon Township officials also declared a snow emergency on Thursday evening, which will take effect at 10 p.m. and remain in effect until further notice.
Parking is restricted along certain designated snow emergency routes when a snow emergency is in effect.
