SV Football Team Wins Eastern Conference Championship

The Saucon Valley varsity football team's 2013 season had a fairytale ending Friday, as the Panthers fought their way to a 50-49 overtime win over Wilkes-Barre's Coughlin High School.

The Saucon Valley varsity football team's 2013 season had a fairytale ending Friday, as the Panthers fought their way to a 50-49 overtime win over Wilkes-Barre's Coughlin High School.

A news alert sent out by the Saucon Valley School District Sunday afternoon congratulated the team on its successful season.

The Panthers, who are coached by Matt Evancho, finished the season with an overall record of 9-3.
