In separate news releases issued Monday, police said Abby Maia Monteverde, 26, of the 200 block of Linden Lane, was first arrested for allegedly stealing from the Dollar General store at 7 Main St. on the afternoon of Nov. 21.
About five hours later, at 9:21 p.m., Monteverde was arrested for retail theft at the Sunoco mini-market at 701 Main St., police said.
Police said that after Monteverde was arrested at Dollar General she was arraigned before the on-call district judge and released on $2,500 unsecured bail.
Monteverde will receive a summons for the charge related to the alleged Sunoco theft, police said.
Police did not say what was allegedly stolen at either business.
