MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — Two Montgomery County teachers who work at different Malvern School locations have been honored with a unique national honor.
Cheryl Ann DeStefano, a preschool lead teacher at the West Norriton Malvern School, and and Chelsea Moyer, a pre-kindergarten lead teacher at the Blue Bell Malvern School, were both recognized during the weekend's virtual ceremony.
“We are extremely proud of these exceptional teachers who represent all of our incredible teachers and staff at The Malvern School,” Kristen M. Waterfield, CEO and founder of The Malvern School, said in a statement. “Early childhood teachers are often unsung heroes, but the past year has shined a light on just how critical they are to children’s development and well-being, the dynamics of modern families and the economy overall."
