2000 North Penn Grad, Had 'Radiant Personality,' Dies At 36

Eric Main, 36, is remembered for his passion for the outdoors, his storytelling, laughter, and radiant personality.

LANSDALE, PA — Eric Ronald Main, 36, of Quakertown, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2018. He was the loving son of Karin A. Main-LaZar (Gary), of Perkasie, and Ronald C. Main (Christine Fabiani-Main), of Towamencin.

Eric was born January 27th, 1982 in Chestnut Hill, Pa, and was a graduate of North Penn High School, Class of 2000.

He worked for Main Construction, Lansdale, where he became a skilled carpenter.

He enjoyed the gym, and everything outdoors. He had a passion for barbecuing, cooking and snowboarding. He enjoyed preparing delicious meals from his garden to table.

Eric's unique sense of humor and storytelling captured everyone's attention. His lively laughter was uplifting and his smile lit up the room. He had a radiant personality and joking nature that attracted friendships far and wide.

Most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends. Eric adored his nieces and nephews and enjoyed playing with them and making them laugh.

Along with his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Michael E. Main (Shannon), of Lansdale, and Brian M. Main (Jilliene), of South Lake Tahoe; nephews Dylan, Jace, Ryan, Colin; nieces Presley, Gillian and the Godfather to niece Alyssa Main; step-sister, Renée Martin (Rob), of Holland, PA; companion, Safoora Shabbir, NY, along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Eric was strong and compassionate, with a heart of gold and his life was a gift to everyone who knew him. His spirit of love and laughter will forever remain in our hearts.

The family will receive friends starting 12:30 p.m. Saturday, June 16, 2018, at Huff and Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale, PA 19446, with his Celebration of Life service to begin at 2:30 p.m. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers the family asks for contributions to be made to any local church for support in their efforts to help with their recovery programs.
