E-ZPass Lane Closure To Lead To PA Turnpike Delays In Montco

Motorists should be prepared for "slow-moving or stopped traffic" on Tuesday, officials said.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — A lane closure on the Pennsylvania Turnpike on Tuesday will lead to delays, officials said.

The Turnpike Commission said that the E-ZPass southbound lanes approaching the Mid-County Interchange will be shut down for repair work.

The closure will be in place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sept. 24 for toll equipment maintenance.

Motorists should be prepared for "slow-moving or stopped traffic."

E-ZPass customers can still use the conventional E-ZPass lanes to the right of the Mid-County toll plaza, which have a speed limit of 5 mph.
