Father's Day: Lansdale Dad Honored By Girlfriend

Leading up to Father’s Day on Sunday, Patch surveyed area residents and asked them to submit stories of fathers who were special to them.

Here’s one local dad, nominated by the mother of his child:

About: “I would like to nominate my boyfriend Monroe because he is truly an amazing dad. We had our son Ayden when we were both 19 and no matter what obstacle we have faced as young parents he has always been there to face and overcome them with me.”

“He is an amazing role model for our son. He works days at a time to make sure our family is provided for. We are now 24 and our son wants to be just like his dad. Monroe had a rough start in life without his dad being around but he didn’t let that deter him from making an amazing life for his family and himself.”

“He is confident, caring, and always willing to help others. He has an old soul we always joke around because in a crowd of people you will always find him joking around with the older people. I am really glad for the opportunity to nominate him because he really is a one of a kind awesome, loving father.”
