Warmer weather is on the way as the region steps into spring, and Green Lane Park has some fun events on the docket.
GREEN LANE, PA — Spring has arrived in Montgomery County, and local parks are marking the change of the seasons with upcoming events.
On Thursday, Green Lane Park announced two events happening in April.
Wildflower Walk

On Saturday, April 17 at 1 p.m., the park will hold a free educational walk identifying and discussing some of the area's spring wildflowers. Pre-registration is required; call (215) 234-4528.
Earlybird Walk

On Saturday, April 24 at 8 p.m., residents are invited to a free birdwatching event. Early spring migrating birds, songbirds, raptors, and other species can be seen. Bring binoculars. Pre-register by calling (215) 234-4528.
Both events start at the park office on 2144 Snyder Road.
