Hatfield Firefighters Contain Weekend Blaze At Local Home
The speedy work of first responders prevented the blaze from spreading to a second home.
HATFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — Firefighters extinguished a fire at a home in Hatfield Township over the weekend, preventing it from spreading to another home nearby.
The incident occurred on Saturday, June 26 at around 4:42 p.m. on Jodi Sue Lane.
When crews from the Hatfield Volunteer Fire Company and Colmar Volunteer Fire Company arrived, they found the fire going strong in a garage.

Crews stretched two hose lines: one to prevent the fire from entering the home, and the second to the garage to fight the blaze, authorities said.
Ultimately, the fire was contained to just a single home, thanks to the quick and efficient work of first responders.
