Hatfield Man, Dedicated Phillies And Eagles Fan, Dies At 53

Hatfield's Charles C. Albor, 53, was an avid Philadelphia sports fan.

HATFIELD, PA — Charles C. Albor III, 53, of Hatfield, died Wednesday, March 7, 2018.

Born March 11, 1964 in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Elizabeth (Johnson) and Charles C. Albor, Jr.

Chuck was employed in commercial sales for many years. He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, especially the Phillies and Eagles, and he loved vacationing in Ocean City, NJ.

He is survived by his children, Charles C. “Charlie” Albor IV of Manhattan, and Nicole M. Allebach (Todd) of Lansdale; his former wife and best friend, Diane M. Albor; two brothers, John Albor (Nancy) of Lansdale, and Steven Albor (Christine) of Jamison, PA; two sisters, Joan Rabuck of Horsham, and Linda Burns (John) of Oregon; sister-in-law, Wendy Albor; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Leslie Albor; brother-in-law, George Rabuck; and sister, Deborah Gonzalez.

Relatives and friends may call between 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at St. Stanislaus Church, 51 Lansdale, Ave., Lansdale. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in Chuck’s memory to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas, 66675.
