How Does $5 Become $175? Just Add Lansdale
One collector is offering up some unique Lansdale finds on Ebay.
Ask anyone. How much is a $5 bill worth? The answer is usually obvious, right. It's worth $5. But, not this one.
Currently up for sale on Ebay.com, one $5 bill is actually worth $175. How did that happen? Just take a $5 bill, add time, a dash of Lansdale, and voila. There you have it.
Edelman's Coins & Stamps has the bill up for grabs on the popular auction site, Ebay. The company is in the "cash" business all the time.

What makes it unique for a local collector? The stamp, of course. The bill, which was issued in 1929, includes the stamp from "The First National Bank of Lansdale."
Local buyers will need to add six percent sales tax for the state of Pennsylvania to purchase this gem. The seller, however, is offering free shipping.
