Lansdale Area Snow Updates: Vehicles Must Be Moved, No School
A snow emergency was declared in Lansdale, as the region braced for the winter's second major storm.

LANSDALE, PA — Snow began to blanket the greater Philadelphia area on Sunday afternoon, and snowfall estimates for the storm, which could last into Tuesday, range anywhere from eight to 12 inches through most of Montgomery County.
It's the second major snowstorm of the winter, following last winter's abnormally low snow totals.
Lansdale borough declared a snow alert, effective at noon on Sunday. It is in place indefinitely. Parking restrictions mean that residents must remove vehicles from emergency routes. Plowing will commence first on those emergency routes.
