LANSDALE, PA — It may be sunny and mild out now, but that's about to change. Lansdale has declared a Snow Emergency for Saturday's forecasted storm.

The emergency will go into effect at 4 p.m. Saturday.

Anywhere from three to six inches of snow is possible in the area.

All cars should be moved off of snow emergency routes before the emergency goes into effect. Any cars that are not moved will be ticketed and towed, officials said.

Lansdale police are also warning residents not to reserve parking spaces using chairs, cones, or other items. It is illegal, and officers will cite residents.

It is illegal to deposit snow from sidewalks into the street, officials added.

Residents should check in on elderly or vulnerable neighbors.
