Lansdale Health Inspections: 12 Violators Over Past 7 Weeks

LANSDALE, PA — The Montgomery County Health Department inspected numerous Lansdale area establishments since the beginning of October.

Smokehouse Tavern led the way with 33 violations. Infractions ranged from improper date marking and a lack of employee handwashing sign reminders to not labeling toxic cleaning substances and food handlers not wearing hair restraints.

  • Smokehouse Tavern, inspected Nov. 6, 33 violations (17 violations on 11/13 follow up)
  • Cannoneers Sportsmens Club, inspected Nov. 5, one violation
  • Main Street Pizzeria and Grille, inspected Nov. 2, 12 violations
  • Koffee Korner Cafe, inspected Nov. 2, 15 violations
  • Smoke Daddy's Home Grown Barbecue, inspected Nov. 2, four violations
  • Golden Chopsticks Chinese Restaurant, inspected Oct. 26, 10 violations
  • Amber Asian Cafe, inspected Oct. 18, 13 violations (no violations on 10/25 follow up)
  • Knapp Elementary School, inspected Oct. 19, two violations
  • Panico's Neighborhood Grill, inspected Oct. 15, eight violations
  • Umai Japanese Restaurant, inspected Oct. 10, 11 violations
  • Asian Legend Vietnamese Cuisine, inspected Oct. 10, three violations
  • York Avenue Elementary School, inspected Oct. 5, three violations
