Lansdale Hires 2 New Full-Time Police Officers
Congratulations to James Thompson and Hazel Bundy, the latest additions to the borough's finest.
LANSDALE, PA -- The Lansdale Police Department announced two new additions to its full time staff this week.
One of them, Officer Hazel Bundy, was already working part-time with the department and was promoted to the full-time position. She's a graduate of Roxborough High School and the Delaware County Police Academy, and has been certified as a bike officer through the International Police Mountain Bike Association.
The second, James Thompson, is a graduate of North Penn High School, volunteer firefighter, and four-year veteran of the U.S. Navy. He graduated from the Montgomery County Police Academy in 2020.

"The pair join our department to replace two officers that have recently retired," police said in a statement announcing the moves. "We welcome James and Hazel to our family and look forward to long and successful careers for both."
