Lansdale Hospital Wins Two Healthgrades Awards

Abington Health-Lansdale Hospital earned two awards according to North Penn Life.

The report states that the local hospital received the 2015 Patient Safety Excellence Award and the 2015 Outstanding Patient Experience Award from Healthgrades, a research and ratings company, based in Colorado.

According to the report, the company uses patient surveys for the Patient Experience Award and data from Medicaid and Medicare Services for safety award. More than 3,600 hospitals were evaluated, and Lansdale Hospital was one of 93 hospitals to win both awards.

Lansdale Hospital also received a Healthgrades 2014 Outstanding Patient Experience Award
