Lansdale Issues Snow Alert, Effective Tuesday Night

More snow is set to batter the region, and once again, the borough of Lansdale is getting prepared.

LANSDALE, PA — Yet another major storm is coming to southeastern Pennsylvania. The storm, set to hit in two parts on Tuesday and Wednesday, could bring up to 18 inches in some parts of the Philadelphia region, while at least a foot of snow is widely expected. Lansdale has announced a snow alert effective at 6 p.m. Tuesday night.

Though many residents are likely familiar now, here's a reminder of what a snow alert means for Lansdale residents:

Vehicles cannot park on any street where signage indicates "no parking during a snow alert" to allow for plowing. No parking is permitted on many side streets throughout the borough as well.
