Lansdale man pleads guilty for being repeat retail thief
Mendez, 27, has to repay ShopRite more than $1,500, receives three-month probation sentence
A Lansdale man pleaded guilty for retail theft in Montgomery County Court and received a three-year probation sentence.
Orlando Mendez, 27, will have to pay ShopRite on Forty Foot Road, $1,569 according to the report in The Intelligencer. The total represents the amount Mendez was accused of shoplifting several times in September and October of last year.
According to the report, Mendez was caught trying to leave the store with a full car of groceries. Mendez fled the store, but was later found by the police.
