Lansdale Memorial Day Parade Canceled
Lingering concerns over the pandemic have led to the cancelation of the parade. A small service honoring the holiday will still be held.
LANSDALE, PA — Lingering concerns over the pandemic have led to the cancelation of the 2021 Memorial Day parade in Lansdale. A small service honoring the holiday will still be held.
The service will take place at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 31 at the War Memorial in Lansdale Memorial Park.
The event is being organized by the VFW Post No. 32, Virgilio Schembri Battavio Post No. 23, and The American Legion William E Hare Post No.206.

If rain is forecasted the ceremony will be canceled, organizers said.
One of the borough's annual highlights, the Memorial Day Parade typically features a march and ride up Main Street in honor of those who died while serving in the country's armed forces.
