Lansdale On The Rails: Ride On A Beer-Tasting Train Car
Several local breweries will pack onto a vintage steam train for the first ever Lansdale Beer Tasting Train Car.

LANSDALE, PA — The popularity of vintage train car rides recently has spawned a new event.
The first ever Lansdale on the Rails: First Class Beer Tasting Car, has been announced for later this summer.
Several local breweries will pack onto the New Hope Railroad's #40 vintage steam train, offering riders in one car the opportunity to drink beer while experiencing the historic ride.

The event will take place on Aug. 23, with three departure times: 5 p.m., 6:30 p.m., and 8 p.m.
All rail trips begin at the Lansdale SEPTS station and run north along the old Reading Railroad Bethlehem line, turning back at Souderton.

Some of the area breweries that have signed on include Round Guys, Well Crafted, Ten 7, and McAllister.
The train will also include non-drinking cars; the beer tasting car is for passengers aged 21 and over only.
