Lansdale Snow Shoveling: Who Is Responsible, When Does It Need To Happen?
See what Lansdale's borough code has to say on the matter of snow removal.

LANSDALE, PA — As the winter months close their icy grip on the Philadelphia region, many residents will find themselves facing one of the winter's most-dreaded - or most-loved - chores: shoveling snow.
Here are a few points to keep in mind as you grab those shovels. According to the township code:
* The owners, agents-in-charge, tenants or occupiers of all properties in the Borough of Lansdale shall clear or cause to be cleared a pathway on the sidewalk on their respective properties in the event of snow. Such pathways shall not be less than 30 inches in width and shall be thoroughly cleared of snow and ice or covered with salt, sawdust or similar materials.
