Police say Anne Marie Brinckman, 46, of the 100 block of Second Street, resisted arrested after charging at police

A 46-year-old Lansdale woman was arrested after allegedly interfering with police, as they responded to a domestic confrontation call at her residence on March 1.

On Wednesday, Lansdale Police charged Anne Marie Brinckman, of the 100 block of Second Street, with obstruction of administration of law and resisting arrest.

According to an affidavit, during the investigation at the home, Brinkman, yelled, “Shut up everyone, don’t say anything. Don’t trust the police.” Police also state that in a recording of the 911 call, Brinckman can be heard saying, “If the cops come I’m stabbing one of them.”

While at the residence responding to a domestic confrontation call, police say they identified Brinkman’s son, Patrick Carpenter, who is out on bail for prior offenses, walking down the stairs.

According to police, Carpenter is not permitted to be at the home as part of his bail conditions. Police say they were able to stop Carpenter from fleeing by pointing a Taser at him.

The court document states that Brinckman then ran toward the officer, and the officer “used a straight arm to knock Brinckman to the ground.” Brinckman then allegedly refused to allow the officer to put her in handcuffs.

Police stated in an affidavit, dispatchers reported hearing a female scream, ”get off me,” and someone yelling “they are going to get stabbed,” while police were en route to the home.
