Montco Food Truck Serves Cast Members During Filming Of 'Glass'
"Glass," the sequel to "Split," is being filmed in the Philadelphia area by local director M. Night Shyamalan.

Acclaimed director M. Night Shyamalan, a native of the Philadelphia area, has been bringing Hollywood to the Delaware Valley ever since the groundbreaking "The Sixth Sense" was filmed in and set in the city in 1999.
So it's little surprise that the stars of his upcoming movie, "Glass," scheduled for a 2019 release, were served by a local food truck.
Ambler Main Street reports that the actor James McAvoy was served dessert on the local movie set (at an undisclosed location) by the Pie and Plate Cafe truck.

McAvoy ate a cupcake and owners of the food truck, Kristen Clay Wente and Kurt Wendt, had the chance to watch some of the movie being filmed.
"Glass" is the sequel to 2016's hit "Split." The conclusion of "Split" teased that the potential sequel could incorporate elements of both "Split" and "Unbreakable," another 2000 Shyamalan film also set in the Philadelphia area. The three films are considered a thematic trilogy. Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jackson, Anya Taylor-Joy, and McAvoy will reprise their roles.

The now closed-Allentown State Hospital, the Benjamin Franklin House, the Broad Street Line, and Guerrin Rec Center have all been confirmed as filming locations for "Glass."
Starting day 10 of #Glass. Exhausted, excited. At times I get emotional seeing all these characters together in one film.
