Montgomery Township To Hold 'Halloween Drive-Thru' Event
Montgomery Township is still figuring out ways to celebrate autumn and Halloween, despite the pandemic.
MONTGOMERY TOWNSHIP, PA -- Montgomery Township is hosting a pandemic-special Halloween event at a local park later this month.
The special drive-thru event will feature various Halloween and fall displays at William F. Maule Park at Windlestrae. The event is described as family friendly.

“Given the ongoing pandemic, we appreciate that some families may be understandably reluctant to have their children participate in traditional trick-or-treating activities," Chairwoman of the Board of Supervisors, Tanya Bamford, said in a statement. "It’s the hope of the board and staff that this drive through event will provide a safe, fun alternative for celebrating Halloween."
The event will take place on Halloween Day, Saturday, Oct. 31, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Volunteers from the Board of Supervisors, police department, and fire department will have giveaways for each car and table displays.
The township's annual Autumn Festival is typically held at the park every October, but had to be canceled this year due to coronavirus.
The park is located at 1147 Kenas Road in North Wales.
