Montgomery Township's Autumn Festival Set For Saturday

A fire truck jump slide, 70 food trucks, inflatable ax throwing, petting zoo, moon bounce, hayrides, pumpkin decorating, and more.

MONTGOMERY TOWNSHIP, PA — Montgomery Township's annual Autumn Festival is just days away.

The 19th annual event will be held on Saturday, Oct. 12 from noon to 5 p.m. at William F. Maule Park at Windlestrae.

A fire truck jump slide, inflatable ax throwing, mechanical bull, petting zoo, moon bounce, hayrides, and pumpkin decorating, are just a few of the events planned for the day.

There will be 70 food vendors on hand.

Things get kicked off at noon with an opening ceremony at the DJ stage.

A K-9 demonstration will be held at 1 p.m., followed by a helicopter landing at 2 p.m., and a second K-9 demonstration at 3 p.m.

A separate Kiddie Korner will be established with family friendly activities like a moon bounce, inflatable pirate ship, trackless train, and more.

Attendees can park at Rose Twig at Windlestrae, with overflow parking at Penn Manufacturing Industries and Keystone Fellowship, each of which will have shuttle service to the park.

Wristbands or tickets are required for certain activities, like amusement rides, pumpkin decorating, and scarecrow making. Wristbands are available for pre-sale for $7 at the Montgomery Township Community Center; day of tickets will be $10.

The park is located at 1147 Kenas Road in North Wales.
