Winds gusting up to nearly 60 miles per hour Monday knocked out power for more than 5,000 in Montgomery County. Nearly a thousand of those outages were in Hatfield alone.

There were a total of 918 outages reported at 10:15 a.m., accounting for 37 percent of PECO customers in Hatfield.

Restoration estimates ranged from a few hours to a few days.
