North Penn Girls Win 5th Straight Water Polo State Title

Congratulations to the North Penn girls water polo team!

LANSDALE, PA — The North Penn girls water polo squad continued their dominance this weekend, earning their fifth consecutive Pennsylvania state championship.

The team defeated Wilson Bulldogs to capture the state title on Saturday. Wilson was seeded number one ahead of North Penn coming into the weekend.

The girls finished first in the Eastern Conference during the regular season with a 12-2 record, ahead of Wissahickon (13-4) and Upper Dublin (11-5).

The girls championship team members include Grace McLaughlin, Caroline Dunigan, Caitlyn Freece, Claudia Thamm, Jillian Gehringer, Madeline Voss, Abigail Broadhead, Taylor Halteman, Lizi Bakradze, Jane Montague, Abby Peters, Katelyn Harkrader, Haley Muth, Brigid Huebner, and Olivia Pironti.
