North Wales Woman, 20-Year Navy Veteran, Passses At 72
Flora M. Rogers served her country for more than 20 years, and loved traveling, games, the casinos, and her family and friends.

LANSDALE, PA — Flora M. Rogers, 72, of North Wales, PA passed away suddenly on October 31, 2018 at her home. Born June 28, 1946 in Lansdale, PA she was the daughter of the late James L. and the late Jennie M. (nee Ramsey) Rogers.
In addition to being employed as a Hairdresser and as a Claims Specialist in the Insurance Profession, Flora was also a United States Navy Veteran who proudly, honorably, and faithfully served her country for over 20 years, retiring with the rank of Petty Officer 2nd Class. Flora enjoyed baking, cooking, reading, playing games on her computer, traveling, watching TV Detective and Mystery Shows and then solving the mysteries, going to the casinos, and most of all, spending time with her family and friends. She will always be remembered as a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and a proud United States Navy Veteran and American.

Flora is survived by her children, Tammy Creciun-Virgilio, of Harleysville, Rod Creciun, of North Wales, and Melissa Creciun (Gary Eder), of Hatfield, her six grandchildren, and her siblings, Barbara Kuhns, of Hatfield, Alan Rogers, of Boca Raton, FL, and Rodney Rogers, of Myrtle Beach, SC. She was also preceded in death by her son, the late Michael Creciun, and her granddaughter, the late Britiani Creciun.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Friday morning, November 16, 2018 from 9:30-11:00 AM at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Avenue, Lansdale, PA 19446 where her Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM. Inurnment with Military Funeral Honors will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown, PA.

The family has respectfully requested that all flowers be omitted, and that those desiring to do so may make a memorial contribution in Flora’s name to a charity of the donor’s choice, and which would be deeply appreciated by her family.
