PA Turnpike Closing Overnight Near Lansdale This Weekend
A stretch of the Northeast Extension will shut down in both directions this weekend near Lansdale for construction work.

LANSDALE, PA — A stretch of the Northeast Extension will shut down in both directions this weekend near Lansdale for construction work.
The closure will take place between the Lansdale (Exit 31) and Quakertown (Exit 44) interchanges on Sunday, Nov. 17. It will last from midnight until 6 a.m.
Construction crews will be performing a traffic control stage switch in the area, between mileposts 31.34 and 37.39.

State police will be on hand to direct motorists to the detours; there will also be "nearly 100" message signs posted with detour information, according to the Turnpike Commission.
Motorists will be detoured on State Route 63, U.S. 202, State Route 309, and State Route 663.
