Fireworks season is just around the corner, as the greater Philadelphia area prepares to celebrate Fourth of July.

The forecast indicates a possibility of rain or thunderstorms in the evening of July 4, which means it's not a bad idea to look for rain dates on these events, where organizers have made that information available. A high of 90 and a low of 73 is predicted.

Here is a list of shows by alphabetical order. Note: some shows are not on July 4, but in the days surrounding the holiday.

ABINGTON

One of America's oldest 4th of July celebrations kicks off July 4 with a Children's Morning Program at 10 a.m. at Renninger Memorial Park in Cheltenham. The "The Grand, Glorious, Patriotic Parade," which is in its 125th year in 2019, will begin at 4 p.m. on 1.5 mile stretch through Glenside. The Fireworks Spectacular will take place at dusk at Abington Senior High School.

CONSHOHOCKEN

Conshohocken's fireworks will take place on July 3, not July 4. The celebration is focused on Sutcliffe Park, where things get started at around 6 p.m. There will be live entertainment, food, drinks, games, and more family fun. Bounce houses will be set up on the fields, and a live martial arts demonstration will take place at 7:30 p.m. Fireworks will go off at about 9:45 p.m.

Glenolden's fireworks will take place on Saturday, June 29 at dusk at Interboro Baseball Field.

Upper Darby's celebration will be on Wednesday, July 3 at 9:20 p.m. at Upper Darby High School Memorial Stadium.

Bethel Township's will hold a display on Wednesday, July 3 at dusk at Bethel Springs Elementary School.

Lansdowne's Independence Day event will be on July 4 at dusk at Penn Wood High School.

In Clifton Heights on July 4, the fireworks display will go off at 9:15 p.m. at the Clifton Heights Athletic Field.

Collingdale Park will hold July 4 fireworks at dusk.

DOYLESTOWN

This July 4 in Doylestown, there will be the annual Old-Fashioned Fourth of July festival at Fonthill Castle. Festivities include a decorated bike parade, watermelon-eating contests, wheelbarrow and sack races, tug-of-war and live music. Food vendors will be selling refreshments. Fireworks are slated for July 7 at Doylestown's Central Park.

LANGHORNE

Sesame Place will hold a Neighborhood Street Party Night Parade on July 4 at 9 p.m., followed by a fireworks display.

LOWER PROVIDENCE

Lower Providence's All-American Birthday Bash gets started on July 4 at 5:30 p.m. at 100 Parklane Drive. This year will include yard games for all ages, a dunk tank, photo scavenger hunt, face painting, food trucks, a DJ and music, trivia games, and more. Fireworks will be held at dusk.

LIMERICK

Waltz's Golf Farm in Limerick will hold their annual extravaganza at 7 p.m. on July 4. There will be live music from New Jersey rock band, Whiskey Grin. Mini-golf, food, drinks, and more highlight the evening. Fireworks will be held around dark; music will continue until the fireworks show.

NARBERTH

The Narberth Fourth of July celebration and fireworks will be held on Independence Day in Narberth Park. Events will begin at 10 a.m. and run to 2 p.m. Attendees can expect family activities, food, parades, races, contests, carnival games, a dunking booth, and much more. The fireworks display will begin at dusk.

NEW HOPE

The New Hope-Lambertville summer fireworks along the Delaware River will take place on July 5 and Aug. 2. Expect the fireworks to start at about 9:30 p.m.

NORRISTOWN

The festivities get kicked off with the 4th of July parade at 9:45 a.m. From there, the block party on Main Street will get going at 10:30 a.m. with food, drinks, games, entertainment, family activities, and more. Main will be shut down from DeKalb to Arch Street. That will go on until 2 p.m. The party moves to Elmwood Park at 3 p.m., where live bands will perform a concert in the band shell until 9 p.m. The fireworks show is scheduled to cap the day's celebrations at dusk, around 9 p.m.

PHILADELPHIA

Philadelphia's fireworks celebrations will take place on two days. On June 29, fireworks will be held at the Great Plaza at Penn's Landing. The celebration goes from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. On July 4, the annual concert and fireworks will take place on Benjamin Franklin Parkway and 21st Street from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

PHOENIXVILLE

The Phoenixville fireworks celebration will be held on July 4 at Friendship Field, at the corner of Fillmore Street and Franklin Avenue. The display is scheduled to kick off at around 9:15 or 9:30 p.m., once it is dark enough out to enjoy the show, organizers said. A rain date has been set for July 4.

POTTSTOWN

A parade presented by the Rotary Club of Pottstown begins at 10:30 a.m. at High and Adams streets and continues west to Manatawny Street. Held at Pottstown Memorial Park, the festival will include live music, a beer garden, food, arts and crafts vendors, community organizations, and more. In addition, there will be giant blow bubbles from Granpop Bubbles. The Colebrookdale Railroad will also be offering short rides from noon to 4 p.m. Fireworks will occur at 9:15 p.m.

SKIPPACK

Skippack's annual parade begins at 11 a.m. down Route 73. Fireworks will be held at dusk at Palmer Park.

SOUTHAMPTON

The 2019 Southampton Days Country Fair will kick off its 48th year with a July 4 week celebration that will include fireworks on Independence Day. High points of the week long fair will be the Sam Constantini annual 4th of July Parade at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 4, and the annual fireworks display at 9:35 p.m.

TREDYFFRIN

Tredyffrin Township will host its Fourth of July celebration at Wilson Farm Park at 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 4. The Chester County Concert Band will be playing patriotic songs during the evening. A fireworks show will being at dusk following the concert.

VALLEY FORGE

A free concert will be held at Washington Memorial Chapel, beginning at 2 p.m. A carillon will play various patriotic tunes to resound across the park.

UPPER MERION

The celebrations get underway at 3 p.m. on July 4 at Heuser Park and will inclue a beer garden, food, activities for children, live music, and much more. Fireworks will be held at dark.

WHITEMARSH

A parade begins on July 4 at 10 a.m. at Barren Hill Fire Company, and continuing to Joshua Road. A festival will take place following the parade at Miles Park Pavilion.

YARDLEY

Shady Brook Farm in Yardley will host fireworks on Saturday, July 6, as part of its Summer UnWined Concert series. The event will run from 5-10:30 p.m. Admission is $12.50, with wine, beer and food available for purchase. That evening, at the farm's Festival Field, Radio Petty, a Tom Petty tribute act, will be performing. The fireworks will follow the band's performance.
