Police Searching for Missing Lansdale Man

Police say Joshua Burton was last seen Wednesday evening at a local bar, and may have left the state

The police are asking the public’s help in locating a missing Lansdale man.

Joshua Burton, 29, from the 400 block of Acorn Street was last seen at a Lansdale bar at approximately 5 p.m. on Wednesday, wearing a red jacket. The initial caller reporting Burton missing, told police he posted a goodbye on his Facebook profile page.

Lansdale Police began searching for Burton to check on his welfare when they received information that he may have left the state on his own accord. Police say they have maintained contact with Burton’s family and expect to release further details regarding his departure.
