President Of County Used Car Dealership Accused Of Fraudulent Business Practices
Attorney General's office files lawsuit against Dean Cafiero, who is president of CarVision.com in Norristown.

Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen G. Kane announced today her office has filed a lawsuit against three Philadelphia-area car dealerships and their president Dean Cafiero of Philadelphia.
Cafiero, who has dealerships in Montgomery County, including CarVision.com in Norristown, and Philadelphia, is alleged to have “sold and leased used cars at inflated process, used deceptive business practices and sold vehicles that were not roadworthy,” according to a press release.
The Office of Attorney General’s Bureau of Consumer Protection investigated more than 130 complaints about Cafiero and his businesses. The lawsuit is seeking restitution and penalties of up to $1,000 for every violation of the Consumer Protection Law.

Cafiero, the president of Drivehere.com Inc., is also the president for Peoples Commerce Inc. and DTC Corp. according to the lawsuit. DTC Corp. did business as Car Vision and Carvision.com in Norristown. Consumers reported various problems with the vehicles as well as billing and contract disputes.
The lawsuit was filed in Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas.
