NORRISTOWN, PA — Several public meetings are scheduled this week in the Lansdale area and around Montgomery County.
Lansdale Council Business Meeting
The next Lansdale borough council business meeting will be held Wednesday, March 17 at 7 p.m. via Zoom.

Items on the agenda include numerous contract awards, such as the Laurel Lane project, Columbia Avenue project, and more. There's also motions on the approval of vehicle purchases, including a snow plow for Public Works and a 2022 Ford F-550.

The Sewer Authority is set to meet at 6 p.m. on March 17 at the Montgomery Township Building.
The Shade Tree Commission will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the building on March 17.
The Planning Commission will meet there at 7:30 p.m. on March 18.
COVID-19 vaccination town hall
A COVID-19 vaccination town hall will be held Tuesday evening, March 16, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Zoom.
Speakers include Commissioner Val Arkoosh, State Sen. Maria Collett, and CHOP scientist Angela K. Shen. Registration is available here.
The county commissioners will hold their weekly COVID-19 briefing on Wednesday afternoon, March 17, at 1:30 p.m. The event is livestreamed on Facebook.
Board of Commissioners Meeting
The Commissioners' weekly meeting will be held Thursday, March 18, from 10 a.m. to noon. It will be livestreamed on Facebook. Comments are accepted by email to commissioners@montcopa.org. Residents can also register to comment via Zoom.
