Santa and some of his firefighter elves will tour the township neighborhoods during the day, spreading holiday cheer at a time when it's desperately needed.

An exact schedule and map of Santa's tour will not be published, the fire company announced, noting that it is a "complex operation with many members and apparatus."

However, residents should listen to the sirens during the day as a hint for when Santa's firefighting chariot draws near.

Residents are asked to stay out of the roadways and are encouraged to wave from driveways and front porches. No candy can be given out this year due to the pandemic.
