'Single Most Selfless Person In Lansdale': Local Hero Recognized

LANSDALE, PA — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. Together with Ring, we’re working to let all your neighbors know about these outstanding people and their stories.

This submission comes from Jane Friel, who nominated Lansdale's Chip Panico for his work in organizing and giving food donations around the local area:

Hero's job: Chip has made sure that no child would go hungry during the pandemic. He has given thousands of meals to children who are normally fed through school programs.

Reason for recognition:Chip is the most selfless person I have ever met. He has fed children, emergency personnel, and anyone in need these past months. He has traveled to the city to give children take-home healthy meals, no questions asked!
