Sunday Is Fish For Free Day: Check Out These Spots Near Lansdale

Sunday is Fish For Free Day in Pennsylvania, meaning that anyone is able to legally fish in Pennsylvania waters without a fishing license.

The biannual event, sponsored by the PA Fish & Boat Commission, will also be held on July 4.

Trout and salmon permits are also not required.

The weather is predicted to be excellent for fishing, with a high of 81 degrees and a low of 59. There is zero percent chance of rain.

Near Lansdale, there are several popular spots that offer excellent fishing this time of year:

Kepner Creek - Norristown Farm Park

Skippack Creek- Evansburg State Park
