The satellite store of the popular donut store is leaving Blue Bell for East Norriton.

A satellite store of the popular Suzy Jo Donuts is leaving Blue Bell for East Norriton, according to a report in the Times Herald.

The store will be moving into the Penn Square shopping plaza, the report states.

Suzy Jo Donuts have been a mainstay in Montgomery County ever since they opened on Ford Street in Bridgeport in 1955.

In 1962 they moved to 49 E. Fourth Street, where they have remained ever since.

The business is named after the daughters - Suzanne and Joanne - of Joseph and Elizabeth Davis, the founders.

Today, Joanne still owns the business with her husband, their daughter, and their son-in-law.

Satellite locations are also in Royersford and Limerick. The shops have become notorious in Montgomery County over the years for their tasty fried treats.

“Agent Cooper on ‘Twin Peaks’ would be proud,” commented customer Jack Booth, referring to the FBI agent-donut connoisseur of the cult classic TV show .
